Treeforce Clean Up Australia Day was a big success with 25 amazing people doing a truckload of work. We split into 3 teams to spread out and cover 5 city blocks of the Cairns Central swamp.
What a vital piece of work, removing 265 kg of waste from an important local ecosystem! Thanks everyone who came, and thanks to Jules Lim, one of our amazing treeforce expert coordinators for organising the event. The CUAD waste stream data entry was an interesting activity to finish on, and added citizen science learning outcomes and valuable government data to the event.
