Treeforce are pleased to announce a new Citizen Science in Schools 2022 partnership with QLD Department of Environment and Science. This was announced last week by Minister for the Environment, Meghan Scanlon, who visited Treeforce last year to see our regeneration work.

Treeforce will be looking for school, and school care program partnerships. Environmental Education is a great motivator for kids to get actively involved in conservation. This program will bring our popular Community Citizen Science programs to a wider audience.

Some of the topics we can assist with include:

Waterway Health

Waste management

Vegetation integrity

Wildlife in the environment

Helping wildlife in the urban environment

If you are in an educator role for schools or after school care, get in touch at info@treeforce.org.au. We will help you find ways to meet your environmental education and curriculum needs for a range of age groups. Our program coordinators are bluecard certified and experienced in all ages Citizen Science events.
