Join us this Sunday September 19th for our AGM and Great Northern Clean Up at the Lower Freshwater Rd Bridge. The Clean Up starts at 7.30am followed by the AGM at 9am with a supplied morning tea.
Lower Freshwater Rd runs between the Freshwater Pony Club and Peace Lutheran School. Meet us at the bridge and help us clean up this area of Freshwater Creek which is used as a household dumping site. All this rubbish could flow directly to the Great Barrier Reef during the first wet season floods!
Wear sun smart gear, gloves, covered shoes and bring water…See you there.
This project received grant funding from the Qld Department of Environment and Science’s Citizen Science Grant
