650 trees were planted by 70 Treeforce volunteers and Freshwater Scouts in just over half an hour! A record turn out of volunteers in Treeforce history. There was plenty of time to enjoy afternoon tea and a visit from a 4 O’Clock moth at 4.15pm. She was laying eggs on a mature Carallia brachiata – Freshwater Mangrove. We often plant this species and other butterfly host plants – all part of the plan….
