World Environment Day Tree Planting at our New Site – Northern end of St. Andrew’s sports fields – Sunday, June 7 – 7.30-9.30am

This was the first tree planting at our massive new downstream site on Freshwater Creek. 45 volunteers managed to find us, which was the first challenge, then went on to plant 1150 trees. This was the first 25th Anniversary Landcare Grant planting and there will be plenty more to come this year. We endeavour to plant 6000 trees on this site all up before June 2016!
