Treeforce will be returning to ‘Lower Freshwater Rd’ near the bridge on September 10 for the Great Northern Clean UP 2017 starting at 7.30am.
(This is the old road that runs between the Freshwater Pony Club and Peace Lutheran school…. so don’t get it mixed up with the other spot)
The Clean Up will be for one hour until 8.30am and then we will have morning tea followed by the AGM at 9am.
Bring a plate of food to share if it is easy for you to do….also sun smart gear, covered shoes, gloves and water.
This is the best time to have a Clean Up before all the rafts of rubbish flow out of Freshie Creek to the Barron River and then on to the Great Barrier Reef during the first wet season rains (we have seen these rafts of rubbish)
There is always lots of rubbish at this site and we hope to see you there
