The partnership planting with St. Andrew’s Catholic College on the 23rd March saw about 40 senior students, parents and Treeforce volunteers plant 180 trees, kindly supplied by the Cairns Regional Council, along the front entrance fence of the school. Although it poured the night before we only got a little bit wet that morning. Special thanks to former Treeforce volunteer, now school gardener, Trish Petrovic, Charlie Aguis for preparation of the holes and mulch and assistance on the day, and Principal Lee MacMaster for providing a wonderful morning tea and supporting this great school partnership in the Redlynch Valley.
