Join Treeforce for a morning of Community Reef Stenciling for the Reef around public drainage areas and along footpaths in Smithfield, starting at JCU.

Made from old street signs, Reef Stencils are used to encourage responsible litter disposal. The stencils include messages such as ‘bin your butts’ and ‘only rain down this drain’. Reef Stencils help badge your local drains and gutters with turtles and fish to create a visual connection between the land and the sea,  helping to promote responsible litter disposal.

Come along and share in the fun with family and friends, finishing up with a morning tea in a close by park.

Please wear sun smart clothing, bring a large water bottle and a hat. We will be slow walking most of the time, and you’re welcome to bring your bicycles.

Date: 8 Oct 2023

Time: 8-10am, please try to be on time as we will be constantly moving locations

Meet up location: JCU Walking path (out the front of JCU)
