What a weedy Welcome to 2022 
We all met down by the powerlines to learn how to ID ten common problem weeds of the area, to have a “weed hunt/bingo’ and to remove some pesky Balsam Pear (Momordica charantia) from smothering our beloved trees. Stuart found and successfully removed a whopping Balsam Pear taproot and Eden correctly ID’d all ten weeds!We also found some interesting critters to keep our moods out of the weeds and remind us of why we were out there! And of course the delicious snacks, lovingly shared from Jacqui and Lesley.
