Sunday 11th August 2013  Another beautifully sunny Cairns winter morning at the Chook Farm this week! Armed with wheelbarrows, mulch forks, weed mats and water, we all set out on a mission to begin mulching each tree with a healthy serve of weed resistance. This has been the first activity of our Chook Farm ‘wrap up’, as we work our way towards preparing this site to be self-sustaining. Thanks also to Boyd for tackling a large area with the spray unit during the week!
