We had 80 hole pre-augured and ready for the last big push to have our canopy gaps filled before dry season.
Boyd and Alex had been hard at it on the previous Thursday to get the planting holes in. Our hardy crew planted, weeded, mulched and watered across the site. This completes any infill planting for the Chook Farm.
The Committee is planning to spend a lot of time this dry season mulching and watering the chookfarm site in order to decrease the maintenance next wet season. This will leave us free to tackle a new site by February.
